 Adventure at the End of The Trail

In 2005, our guests caught 161 Muskies (100% of which were released.) The catch totaled 6,193.5 inches of Muskies and averaged nearly 38½ inches per fish caught. Out of our resort, 67 Muskies over 40 inches were caught, 40 of which were over 20 pounds and 4 of which were in the 30 pound class or better.

Chester Markowicz won the 2005 award for the largest Musky caught be a guest with his 30 pound class 48½ inch fish.

Don Krahl and Scott Allen tied for registering the heaviest muskies for the year with 34 pound class fish at 50 inches and 49 inches respectively.

Brenda Dettloff has the largest musiie caught by woman with her 44 inch 26 pound class fish. Brenda also tied for third place in the 2005 Chippewa Flowage Muskie Hunt after catching 3 muskies of 44½, 41¾, and 37 inches in less than 24 hours.
